Implications of Basel II and IAS 39 for Business Operations and IT Systems
We believe that Basel II and IAS 39 provide sufficient financial incentives to justify a major restructuring of Banks' MI systems. We also believe the Basel II regulation will cause an extensive business training programme to trap and centrally record operational risk “Events”.
